Upload and select source versions
Understand ready text, replacements, retries, and current document limitations.
Add supported text
Open Sources in Content Studio. Upload TXT, Markdown, SRT, or VTT with the displayed form. Follow any format or size error before retrying; changing an extension does not convert a document. This library uses uploaded documents and accessible existing video transcripts. Pasting a website link does not import web content.
Understand current document limits
PDF uploads are currently disabled and show “PDF uploads need setup.” DOCX uploads can be accepted, but automatic DOCX processing is not active in the current deployment. A queued DOCX is not ready text and cannot be used until processing completes.
Use an existing video transcript
Choose an accessible existing video transcript using the source library controls. This references transcript text; it does not upload another video or make an unfinished transcript ready.
Select the exact version
Select sources available to you and ready for the requested use. Replacement retains the source identity and earlier usable text while a new version is prepared. Earlier messages keep their original references; review your selection before the next send.
Follow status and recovery
Queued or processing means work is unfinished; failed means it did not produce ready text. Retry processing appears only when permitted. If an upload response is lost, confirm the same upload or check status before starting again. Cancellation may be refused when the original has already attached.
Read partial coverage honestly
An existing PDF marked Partial contains only available extracted text. Completeness is unverified and passages do not establish original page locations. A whole-source request cannot establish complete coverage from partial text.
